About Hillarie Hemmann, DPT
Born in Bellingham and raised in the small town of Sumas, Washington on the Canadian border, Hillarie practiced in Florida and Virginia before returning to her home state of Washington in 2015. She is experienced in treating a diverse range of conditions, some of which include: postural imbalances, overuse injuries, pre- and post-operative care, low back pain, headaches, post-partum, TMJ, and chronic pain. She is also experienced with on-site ergonomics training, aquatic therapy, and is Astym Certified.
Hillarie enjoys keeping her brain active with learning new activities, such as the cello and hula. Traveling, exercising, searching for vinyl records, and learning about locally made wines occupy her time outside of the office.
Her objective in practicing healthcare is to get patients back to what they love doing through the use of education, exercise, and manual therapy. Her most fulfilling moments are when patients realize the power they have to take control of their health and are surprised that they are able to accomplish a goal they thought was unattainable.
