About Jessica Du, OD
Jessica believes that the human eye can provide invaluable insights into systemic health and that an eye exam is about much more than just a prescription for new glasses.
With nearly a decade of experience in primary eye care, Jessica is skilled in refractive error correction, contact lens fitting, and ocular disease management. During her training in optometry school, she participated in volunteer mission trips to Central America, providing much needed eye care to the local community.
Originally from Toronto, Canada, Jessica now lives in Newcastle, Washington. In her free time, she enjoys caring for her numerous exotic tropical plants and playing video games with her husband.
Why do I practice healthcare: I pride myself in being a provider of primary eye care so I can serve a wide demographic of people, and I believe that regular preventative care is the key for a healthier tomorrow.
