About Raychel Kim, OD

Born in Seattle, Washington and raised in Mililani, Hawaii, Raychel attended Corban University in Salem, Oregon to earn her bachelors in Health Science. Following, she received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University and returned to Hawaii to provide eye care extensively around Oahu. In 2020, she moved back to the PNW and has enjoyed every moment since.

Raychel specializes in primary eye care, contact lenses, dry eye management, and ocular disease. She firmly believes that everyone deserves access to eye care. She hopes that routine vision exams not only highlight glasses/contact lens care, but also emphasize the importance of ocular health assessments. On her free time, Raychel loves photography, illustrating, and baking bread!

Why do I practice healthcare: "I believe it’s a privilege and honor to be involved in patients’ eye care and I strive to be a thorough clinician and educator. I’m in healthcare to do my part in giving back to the community."
